Meet the Staff
Christine is our office manager. She has been with your practice for over 20 years and is very experienced in helping patients with scheduling their preventative and restorative appointments as well as: communicating with your insurance company if and issues arise, applying all insurance and patient payments, handling any billing questions you might have and sometimes you may even see her assisting the doctors or taking x-rays. Christine and her husband Steve both grew up in Alliance, NE and they have two children. Jared is in college working toward his degree in biblical studies and Rachel is in high school and is active in several sports, dance, and theatre.
Cindy grew up in Cheyenne. She completed the Dental Hygiene Program at LCCC and later served on their Dental Hygiene Board. She is the proud mother of two adult sons. She came to Cheyenne Family Dentistry in 2021 with over 20 years of experience as a hygienist. She is passionate about helping patients to restore and maintain their oral health while educating them to achieve their best possible outcome. She strives to give her highest quality of work to every patient. Building patient relationships is a bonus. She finds her work rewarding and has found an amazing and fun team to work with at Cheyenne Family Dentistry. When not at work, Cindy and her husband surround themselves with friends and family (especially her four grandchildren). She enjoys reading, sewing, gardening and camping.
Makayla was born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She graduated from Cheyenne’s LCCC Dental Hygiene Program and has been practicing with Cheyenne Family Dentistry since 2021. Makayla takes pride in serving her local community and building personal relationships with her patients. She strives daily to help her patients have a positive dental experience by alleviating anxiety and creating personalized hygiene homecare routines to promote individualized oral health. Outside of the office, Makayla can be found spending all of her time with her family. They love to go camping, paddle boarding or staying in to cook a big family meal! She is excited to be a part of the Cheyenne Family Dentistry team and share her passion for dental hygiene!
Gabriela is our lead dental assistant and has been with your office for 5 years. Gabby spends most of her day working with both of our doctors, sterilizing instruments, taking x-rays, and managing the inventory. You will also see her helping a lot of Spanish speaking patients understand their treatment . She grew up in Chihuahua, Mexico and immigrated to the United States 25 years ago. She has two daughters and when she is not at work she loves to read or take long weekends in Las Vegas!
Kaylah has worked at Cheyenne Family Dentistry since May 2023. She loves getting to work with her mom and all of the other great people at the office! The most exciting thing to her is getting to learn new skills and meet new people. In 2022, Kaylah graduated a year early from East High School. She wanted to be a dental assistant while she takes college electives. When not working, she loves to spend time with her grandma making Mexican food and taking her little sister shopping, to the park and teaching her to dance. She also likes to spend time with her boyfriend going to concerts, riding motorcycles, watching scary movies and eating an excessive amount of Panda Express. She looks forward to getting to help when you come in for your dental visit.
